Radio ABC Surinam 101.7 since its first debut as a radio station on the 6th of December 1975. It immediately took an important position in the spectrum of online radio in Suriname. The man who founded and directed the radio station was Andre Kamperveen, with his inventive programming in the 1970s through ABC Suriname was the catalyst for the development the radio industry in Suriname.
