Swinging Radio England UK also known as SRE, was one of the most iconic offshore pirate radio stations. It was established in 1966 by American entrepreneur Don Pierson and British businessman Edwin Bollier. Their vision was to create a station that catered to the growing demand for rock and pop music among the youth.
