6PR Radio is commercial commercial radio station that is owned by Fairfax Media Limited (one of the biggest media corporations across Australia as well as New Zealand). It operates in Perth on AM 882 kHz frequencies. This is why it’s often referred to as”882 6PR” станция. It was created around 1931 (12 years before that first radio station had been established within Australia). This makes it among the oldest radio stations in the world.
