KBYS 88.3 FM is exceptional in the modern radio environment; we’re quite a community radio station and our attention is on McNeese State University and the Lake region. KBYS entertains and educates with songs in the 50’s, 60's, and outside, community and school events. KBYS supports additional non-profit organizations with statements of the actions. The channel is powered with a committed team of area volunteers that come from all walks of life, together with the frequent aim of enhancing the quality of life for our listeners. To be able to continue superior programming, KBYS depends upon listener gifts and sponsorship from local companies.
