Radio Merkurs – Radio programs live online streaming data is carried out with help. This means that the radio studio analog signal is converted into a data stream and via the Internet is delivered to the listener. To avoid communication failures bursts is created so-called “buffer” (some time information is stored, and only then passed on), so your program can only be received with a delay (up to 30 sec.). This data stream can be received at any place where there is access to the Internet for both Latvian and Australia, but because of the Internet connection speed rather Slow site :), its visibility may be impaired. But that’s not all – also needs a computer program which supports MP3 streaming (MP3 stream) playback. Which programs it supports and dealing with them will look in the next section.
