Radio Capriccio – Louisiana / Swamp / New Orleans Blues is a genre of blues music that developed in the post-World War II period in Louisiana. It is generally divided into two main subgenres: the New Orleans jazz-influenced blues based on the city’s musical traditions, and the slow paced swamp blues featuring influences from Zydeco and Cajun music from around Baton Rouge.
