Asheville FM is a volunteer-based, grassroots community radio channel made by Friends of Community Radio, a nonprofit thing. Our purpose is to add to reflect the rich stew of arts, society and community participation that’s Asheville. We wish to hear songs, Nachrichten, and also the odd all produced right here in our neck of the woods. We wish to hear noises from all over the planet, discerned and dehydrated only for us from our neighbors. We wish to make relations between diverse groups and encourage the local market of ideas.
