Even though as a top 40 station, it is still being classified as a hot AC station by Mediabase and Nielsen BDS. CKRV-FM’s most recent shift to top 40 was plagued by CKBZ-FM shifting from adult contemporary to hot adult contemporary in the late 2000s.
